Wedding Cake Booking Process

1.

ENQUIRE

Everything begins with your enquiry.

Once you've shared your wedding date, venue, estimated guest numbers and any initial ideas, we'll check availability and provide an initial guide price based on the information you've provided.

If it feels like we're the right fit for your day and you'd like to move forward, a non-refundable £100 booking fee will reserve your wedding date in our diary.

This booking fee forms part of your final balance and will be deducted from the total cost of your cake.

At this stage, your design is still taking shape, so your final cake design and quotation will be developed later in the process.

2.

TASTING BOX

Depending on your booking date and our tasting box release schedule, you may also have the opportunity to receive a complimentary tasting box featuring six flavours from our current menu.

Tasting boxes are released in limited batches between November and April.

If you'd like to sample our flavours before booking your wedding cake, tasting boxes can also be purchased separately through our website shop for £36.00. Should you later go on to book your wedding cake with us, the cost of your tasting box will be deducted from your final balance.

3.

CONSULT

Around 6 months before your wedding date, we will arrange your design consultation where we will discuss all the details for your big day, bringing your ideas to life.

Now it's time to tell me all the wonderful details about yourselves and your wedding. You can do this by email, or we can arrange a video or phone call.

We'll talk through your colour palette, florals, inspiration images and all the little details that will help create a cake that feels personal to you and perfectly suited to your day.

Following your consultation, we'll create an initial digital design sketch and send it to you by email.

You'll then have the opportunity to share your thoughts and request adjustments. Together, we'll refine the design until it feels just right and beautifully reflects the atmosphere of your celebration.

4.

QUOTE

Following your consultation, you will get an accurate quote and a bespoke sketch by email for approval.

This is where your cake really begins to take shape, as all the ideas, inspiration and details we've discussed come together in a design created especially for your day.

As this stage marks the start of production planning, further changes are discouraged.

Should you wish to make changes after approval, these will be treated as an additional service and charged accordingly.

A maximum of two rounds of post-approval amendments can be accommodated.

Please note that any changes made after approval may also affect the final cost of your cake.

5.

DEPOSIT

The deposit is 40% of your final quote and will be due following approval of your design and quotation.

The final balance payment is due in full 4 weeks prior to your wedding date.

6.

DELIVERY

Then comes the exciting part.

On your wedding day, your cake will be delivered and professionally set up at your venue at the agreed time, ready to become part of your celebration.

We'll make sure it's perfect and ready for the big reveal.

Please Note

We do not copy other designer’s work, but we are happy to use your preferred designs as inspiration.

We specialise in ganache and fondant-finished cakes because this allows us to create refined, textural and timeless designs. While we don’t offer buttercream or semi-naked cakes, our cakes are always baked fresh, finished with high-quality ingredients, and designed to taste as exquisite as they look.

A beautiful, luxurious wedding cake with lace decoration.
